Laughing or Humor is one of the best stress relievers going. By taking the time to find the humour in our daily situations we will find that humour and worry don't mix. Research also shows that laughing actually makes people healthier. Various intensities of laughter increase the blood flow, in particular in the abdominal area, and activates the heart, the production of beneficial hormones and the immune system.
Laughing Chi Kung teaches us how to laugh from all the way down in our lower bellies, strengthening the deepest abdominal muscles, the diaphragm and muscles of the pelvic floor, the urogenital muscles. When our lower abdomen is enlivened through deep belly laughing, we create a good solid home for our awareness and energy.
